Event design is the layer above flowers: the concept, the palette, the layout, the lighting mood, the furniture and linen, and the sequence a guest moves through from arrival to last dance. Aura Design Flowers has been designing Miami events since 2010, and design direction is where most of our best work begins.
We design weddings, milestone celebrations, galas and brand activations, and because our studio also produces and installs the work, the concept you approve is the concept that gets built.
How Our Design Process Works
1. Discovery: A conversation about the event, the venue, the guest list and the feeling you want in the room. We look at the floor plan before we look at flowers.
2. Concept and palette: A written design concept with colour direction, material and texture references, and the hero moments we recommend investing in.
3. Renderings and layout: Visuals for ceremony, reception, key installations and tablescapes, plus a layout that works for service and flow.
4. Proposal: Itemised design, florals, rentals, labour, install and strike, with clear options at different investment levels.
5. Production: Our own crew builds and installs the design, coordinated with your planner and venue.

Brand work carries different rules: colour has to be exact, logos have to read on camera, and the build has to survive a full activation day. We have designed activations for Ferrari and INEOS alongside galas, launches and press dinners across Miami.
