The Breakers is a 140-acre oceanfront resort originally built by industrialist Henry Flagler. The current Palazzo-style building, completed in 1926, features hand-painted ceilings by 75 Italian artisans, Venetian chandeliers, and 538 guest rooms. The resort has been owned and operated by the Flagler family for over a century, maintaining an unmatched standard of old-money Palm Beach elegance.
