    1. About Aura Design Flowers

    Aura Design Flowers ("Aura Design," "we," "us," or "our") is a Florida-based wedding and event florist. These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern every proposal, quote, invoice, and floral service we provide. By submitting a quote through our Wedding Builder, signing a proposal, or paying a retainer invoice, you ("Client," "you") agree to be bound by these Terms.

    2. Services

    We provide wedding and event floral design, including bridal and bridesmaid bouquets, boutonnières, ceremony installations (arches, chuppahs, aisle florals), reception centerpieces, sweetheart and head-table florals, bar and welcome arrangements, floral accent backdrops, and related styling, delivery, setup, and breakdown.

    3. Wedding Builder Quotes

    Our online Wedding Builder generates an itemized quote based on the tier, table styling, ceremony option, and add-ons you select. The quote you finalize through the Builder becomes the scope of work for your event. Quotes are valid for 14 days from the date of issue. Pricing is subject to change for new quotes generated after that window due to seasonal floral market conditions.

    4. Retainer & Payment Terms

    • A 25% non-refundable retainer of the quoted subtotal (plus 7% Florida sales tax on the retainer) is required to reserve your wedding date. This retainer is invoiced via Stripe immediately upon finalizing your package and is due within 14 days of issuance - and in all cases before the wedding date. Your date is not reserved until the retainer is paid.
    • The remaining 75% balance (plus applicable Florida sales tax) is due no later than 7 days before the event date.
    • All invoices include 7% Florida sales tax in addition to the quoted subtotal.
    • Accepted payment methods: credit/debit card and ACH bank transfer via the Stripe-hosted invoice. Zelle is accepted upon request.
    • Late balances may incur a 1.5% per month finance charge after the 7-day pre-event due date.

    5. Cancellations, Rescheduling & Refunds

    • The 25% retainer is non-refundable under all circumstances, as it secures your date and offsets early planning, design, and sourcing work.
    • Cancellations made more than 60 days before the event: the retainer may be applied in full to a rescheduled date within 12 months, subject to availability.
    • Cancellations made within 60 days of the event: the retainer is forfeited and any additional non-recoverable costs already incurred (sourced product, sub-contracted labor) remain due.
    • Rescheduling is treated as a new booking on the new date; the retainer transfers once if the new date is available and confirmed at least 60 days before the original event.
    • No refunds are issued for services rendered.

    6. Floral Substitutions

    Fresh flowers are seasonal and subject to availability, weather, and market conditions. We reserve the right to substitute specific stems or varieties with flowers of equal or greater value, preserving the overall palette, style, and design intent of your approved package.

    7. Floral Backdrop Clarification

    Where a "floral backdrop" is included (e.g. in the Luxe package) or selected as an add-on, this refers to a styled floral accent backdrop behind the sweetheart or honour table. It is not a full floral wall. Full floral walls are custom installations quoted separately.

    8. Delivery, Setup & Breakdown

    Delivery and setup within our standard South Florida service area are included in the quoted subtotal. The Client is responsible for ensuring reasonable venue access during the scheduled setup and breakdown windows. Delays caused by venue access, third-party vendors, or last-minute on-site changes requested by the Client may incur additional labor fees.

    9. Rentals & Returned Items

    Vases, candleholders, arches, structures, and other hardware provided by Aura Design Flowers remain our property and must be returned in the condition delivered. Lost, damaged, or non-returned rental items will be billed at replacement value.

    10. Liability

    Aura Design Flowers is not liable for any damage, loss, or injury resulting from the use, handling, or display of floral arrangements after delivery and setup are complete. Our total liability under any booking shall not exceed the total amount paid by the Client for that booking.

    11. Force Majeure

    Neither party is liable for failure to perform due to events beyond reasonable control, including hurricanes, severe weather, government orders, public health emergencies, or supplier failures. In such cases we will work with the Client in good faith to reschedule; the 25% retainer remains non-refundable but transferable to a rescheduled date within 12 months.

    12. Photography & Portfolio Use

    We reserve the right to photograph our floral work before and during your event and to use those images for portfolio, social media, and marketing purposes. We will not publish Client names without consent.

    13. Intellectual Property

    All designs, mood boards, proposals, and content created by Aura Design Flowers remain our intellectual property and may not be reproduced or shared with third-party florists without written permission.

    14. Governing Law

    These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida. Any dispute arising from these Terms or from a booking with Aura Design Flowers shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Miami-Dade County, Florida.
