Planning Your Installation
Start 3-6 Months Out
Large installations need real lead time. Concept development, structural engineering, venue coordination, and flower sourcing all take weeks, sometimes months. We recommend starting the conversation at least three to six months before your date, and it helps to know what installations cost before you set the budget.
The Venue Walkthrough
Before we design a single stem, we walk the venue. We identify rigging points, assess ceiling load capacity, note fire clearances, evaluate lighting, and map setup logistics. The walkthrough is where the design becomes buildable.
Structural Engineering & Sourcing
For very large suspended pieces, we coordinate with structural engineers, no exceptions. Flowers are sourced from South Florida growers whenever possible, and from trusted international partners for specialty blooms, so freshness never gets compromised by scale.

What separates an installation from a centerpiece?
Scale and structure. A centerpiece sits on a table and can be carried in finished. An installation is built on site around a frame, arch or rigging point, and it changes the shape of the room rather than decorating a surface within it. That structure drives most of the cost.
Do suspended installations need special rigging?
Always. Anything hanging needs certified rigging points and a venue that permits loading them, which many historic Miami properties do not. We confirm this at the walkthrough before designing, because discovering a ceiling cannot take weight after the design is approved is an expensive way to start.
Can a ceremony installation move to the reception?
Yes, if it is designed to be moved from the outset. A repurposed piece is built in sections with transport in mind, which is a different build from a fixed one. Allow thirty to sixty minutes during cocktail hour and confirm the venue allows a crew back in.
How much space does an entrance installation need?
Less than most couples expect. Entrances work through framing rather than volume, so a strong piece can be quite shallow. What it does need is clear sightlines and a guest flow that is not pushed through it, which is a venue layout question more than a floral one.
What does a floral installation cost?
